Getting Birth Certificate in Saudi Arabia Riyadh

Requirements
  1. Original Birth Notification From Hospital
  2. Photocopy of Passport for Both Parents 
  3. Photocopy of Iqama for Both Parents
  4. Fill-up form (Click here)
    • Note: all documents shall be valid
Others (but when i go there, they did not ask)
  1. Original Vaccination Card
  2. Photocopy of Marriage Contract for Parents

Steps
  1. Make online appointment (Click here
    • if you don't know how to do it, you can go to the MOI Civil Affairs Office and there is a lot of Saudi people to help you make online appointment for 20SR.
    • Make appointment 30 days before your child is born or else you need to pay 50SR penalty.
  2. Printout the scheduled appointment and bring together with you.
  3. Go to the MOI Civil Affairs office as per Scheduled time. (Click here)
  4. When you are in the Building, go directly to the assigned police and show the Printout appointment together with the requirements. After he review the requirements, he will give you the queue number.
  5. After your number is called (LED Display) just go the the window and give all the requirements and wait for his instruction on what time you can get your Birth Certificate and your done.
Special Note:
In my experience, my appointment time is 10:00 am. After submitting all the required documents, the assigned Saudi in the window told me to return at 2:00 pm for the release of Birth Certificate.

    1. Dear ,we also trying to get the appointment for Nasiryah office but there is no appointment since log time So we visited the civil office as per them online system down and you come before 03 days expire of your birth announcement certificated date of baby born.

  9. Dear Allhamdolilah i got the birth certificate before 02 days expire the birth announcement paper from Nasriya Riyadh
    you should have any dated of booked appointment paper for the formality.

    after got birth certificate before going to MOFA for attestation you should have to pay SR 30
    online because they deny to take cash

      for example for exit reentry we have iqama number to pay online, but for this what will be our reference

  10. I am an Indian citizen, My son born in Saudi Arabia in the year 2006 and
    We left the country in the year 2007 He wasn't issued a birth Birth Certificate I made his Indian passport based on Saudi hospitals admission slip thats whats I was told by hospital administration to submit this paper at your embassy and get the passport and now after 9 yrs I came to know that is not enough i have to acquire a birth Certificate from the country he is born (Saudi Arabia). There fore i have a request to saudi officials to help me out with this issue and guide me what I have to do to have my sons Birth Certificate. I have the copy of my Iqama Work permit to track down my file and service in Saudi Arabia Once again I would be grateful if some could help me or guide for my situation.

    No one replied so far I even called Embassy in Ottawa they asked me to email and I did it's been more than a month no one have replied I don't know what to do!

    My Child born in Riyadh last week. Please advise me if the Birth certificate issued by Ahwal Al Madani office Riyadh has to again attested by MOFA also ?? my friends told me no need for MOFA attestation. Please advise.

    I am an Indian. My Child born in Riyadh last week. Please advise me if the Birth certificate issued by Ahwal Al Madani office Riyadh has to again attested by MOFA also ?? my friends told me no need for MOFA attestation. Just we can straight away go to Indian embassy for Passport procedure and then Iqama.

    Please advise.
